Special Interest Groups Standing Committee SIGCOM

Welcome to the SIGCOM Web Page!

Here you can find information about the activities of various Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and their operational forms, their collaborations with sister organizations in sponsoring joint activities. SIGs have operated from the very start of our society to satisfy the diverse needs of various groups or researchers in the area of neural network research. By now over a dozen SIGs exist in various research areas and also according to geographical areas. On these pages you can read about the newly formed SIGCOM which coordinates the SIGs activities and provides support in various forms. We hope that you will find this information useful. Moreover we encourage you to decide to join these activities. We look forward to seeing you at some of the events we sponsor or organize.
